Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Hyatt Denver

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The rooms were very clean, the bar/restaurant nice and the employees were very friendly.
It's $28 a day for parking, if you accidentally drink the bottled water in your room it will cost you $4.50. Internet is not free. Actually nothing that I noticed is free with your stay. Over promise and under perform is not a good way to do business.

The hotel is undergoing renovation which did not really affect us at all. We were in a newly renovated room with rock hard beds. I felt like if we used the soap we were going to get charged for it. The rooms were clean and the location is within walking distance for almost anything you might be doing downtown. Overall, the hotel is nice but I expected a lot more accommodation then we received given the star level of this hotel. I have never stayed in a four star hotel and felt like I was going to be taken for a few hundred more dollars if I wasn't careful. Oh...and there really isn't any cable TV. There were shopping channels, news channels and a channel for the hotel explaining how much they like the giant buffalo picture in your room and one movie channel. The selection was so limited that it seemed like they were only showing air broadcast channels. ...read more

Great location, amazing rooms, helpful staff
The hotel was under renovation. So (noise)work at 10am, use of the staff elevator... I wish I knew before I booked

Rooms were newly remodeled and extremely nice.
The hotel was undergoing rennovations. It took me a while to find the temporary lobby which was not well marked at a temporary location on the 3rd floor.

The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. There is a lot of confusion checking in and out. However, if you can get a newly remodeled room, it is worth the hassle. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Room had a new urban feel to it
Plenty, one they charged us thirty dollars more to park in there parking garage when their was one a public parking lot a block away charging ten. And most hotels I stay at have at least free coffee in lobby or the room.
XXX and can't get a cup coffee

Hotel had no lobby or anybody directing new checkins to there temporary ghetto check in on floor three. Very disappointed

The hotel was undergoing renovations which was very disruptive. I wish we had known this ahead of time. The staff was not very willing to help improve our stay even after we complained.

Otherwise, great location. Nice renovated room. Good fitness center. Nice Starbucks with quick access.

Close to what we were in Denver to do.
For a hotel like this, one would think you would not have to pay to park, let alone pay $28/night. Absolutely ridiculous! You'll lose customers in Colorado because of it! The restaurant,Pub 17, may be one of the worst restaurants we've experienced.

Good location for the downtown attractions of Denver-aquarium, sports venue, 16th street mall and good restaurants. Go to Marlowe's for breakfast-AWESOME. DO NOT use the parking at the hotel. Right across the street is a public lot for $12/day instead of $28/day! Newly renovated rooms are really nice and modern. All amenities are there and staff was very nice.

Clean
You did not tell me the hotel was going through renovations until 6 at night. The banging sound was horrible and we could not sleep. We would have picked another hotel.

Nice just didnt disclose there would be a ton of noise.
