Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Hyatt New York
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(19) | Solo Traveler(19) | Traveling as Couple(50) | Family with Young Children(9) | Family with Teens(11) | Senior Traveler(1) | Group Traveler(16)

LOVED IT! decoration of the rrom was very cool. Staff was nicer that in any other NYC hotel, specially concierge
Well located, great service. Rooms are small but it is all you need, just a nice, great decorated, clean room to sleep. I recommmed it 100%

The hotel rooms was modern and fun design. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help us feel welcome.
If you plan on checking your bags after check out, there is $2/bag fee. The bathroom sink was very tiny in our 2 double bed room and there very little dressers drawers - two drawers in the night stand. However, the clothes closet is quite large.
The hotel is modern design and right next to Grand Central Station so if you are planning to use the subway you cannot get more convenient than that. There is great food and shopping in Grand Central Station.

The location.
That there were charges for every minor service: eg leaving bags for an hour, wi Fi in the room, etc. Housekeeping Service is slow - it took forever for them to replace a fridge that was not at all functional. The towels were old and washed out.
Not great, but okay. Clean, but not up to par for a four star hotel.

The staff was very nice, and helped as much as they could.
Stinks to pay high dollars a night for no Internet unless paid for and no coffee in rooms

The room was lovely... Very contemporary, high-end. Great location.
They gave me me a room with a "view" and it really wasn't a view. But I didn't spend much time in my room. It was not an issue.

Nice size room. Great central location. Quick responsiveness in fixing a missing lamp light.
A little bit loud with the late night crowd returning from the bars/clubs if you have a room near the elevators.
Expensive but prime location. Charges for Internet. Concierge charges $2/bag for luggage storage.
