Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Hyatt Seattle
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 30, 2013

I brought my parter here after having surgery and it was amazing for both of us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting or living in Seattle needing a day off.

The hotel was very clean and beautiful, the staff was very helpful, and there is a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse connected to the lobby, plus a Cheesecake Factory around the corner. It is 2 blocks to Westlake Center and the Monorail, and about 6 blocks to Pike Place Market so that you can walk wherever you need to go. We would definitely stay there again. That said, parking is very expensive in that area and the hotel charges for wifi- $10 for slow or $15 for fast per day. I would have considered that an include for such a nice hotel, even Motel 6 has free wifi... TV channels were limited- we got HBO but not AMC? Also, for all the very nice amenities in the room (electronic drapes, down comforters, loaner bathrobes and umbrellas, cordless phones) there is no mini fridge so our drinks were room temperature and it limited the food we could bring back to the room. I guess those last two details could be considered nitpicking but the final thing I'd mention is that while we couldn't hear the adjacent rooms through the walls, the doors are quite heavy and automatically close with quite a loud slam, literally. We could always hear when someone was coming or going as it sounded like it was just outside our room. Not bothersome during the day but it could disturb your sleep. However, we did enjoy our stay and we'd recommend this hotel. ...

The hotel was quiet and conveniently located to all of our events. It is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable.

I was actually a bit disappointed in our room, but this is likely due to the expectations I had after staying at the sister hotel, Hyatt at Olive 8. This room seemed pretty small, and there was a stain on the carpet. Also, the hot tub area and locker rooms were pretty small. Again, I expected more based on previous experience.

The Grand Hyatt is a beautiful hotel; very spacious lobby. The guest rooms were clean but small. Great location to the space needle, pike place, and the water front.
