Hotel Guest Reviews of the Grand Tikal Futura Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.October 16, 2011

The staff was inconsiderate and did not even try to honor the reservation requirements. And lied to me about the conversion price of Guatemalan money to dollars in the amount charged to the room. You could possibly be left out in the cold in the middle of the night in a strange country without a room.

This hotel is nice, clean, convenient and excellent for families with older children. The attached mall is a plus.

I realize this is not a lot of money but a similar occurrence happened on my first stay as well which leads me to believe that the front desk staff tend to skim a little off of every bill. ...

It took over 20 minutes for them to find out that I did have a reservation During this time they ignored me and checked in at least 5 other rooms. After the nightmare of checking in I was stressed out. I had never been to the hotel did not even know where the restaurant was and got no information. But the room was really nice. I might try the hotel again for the nice room and location. ...
