The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Rhodes restaurant for breakfast was far better than the characterless place most people were guided to.
The room had limited views and the hotel in general felt a bit dated. It's lobby area was soulless and the lifts were inefficient and slow. The use of dark marble made the hotel look old and dark.

This hotel is in the upper price range for Dubai yet similar quality hotels around the region are better designed, more welcoming and far lower cost. I guess it is Dubai that creates the expectation of high cost hotel rooms, especially during the Western Easter/Spring school break but for your money there are far better places in the region, better beaches, nicer facilities and classier hotels. Try the Shangri-La in Muscat instead. ...read more

The staff were fantastic, and always attended to our needs.
Having to take the shuttle to get to the beach--a walk way would be great!

The Grosvenor House met all our expectations in terms of comfort, and quality service. The concierge was fantastic, and arranged our trips to the desert and "At the Top" tour of the Burj Kalifa. The staff at the sister hotel was equally attentive, and we had several wonderful days of pampering at the beach. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.
