Hotel Guest Reviews of the Guesthouse Hotel & Suites Portland
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 12, 2013

The pool is in a weird location, it's inside and you can see it from the street, lobby, and parking area, it's awkward. The hotel is really dated, but the rooms are clean. The staff was no help, it took forever just to do anything like check in, get a door hanger. My room didn't have a do not disturb sign, so I took all my valuables. Came back later that night and my room door was unlocked and open, housekeeping wasn't done, but someone had been in there to draw the curtains, kinda eerie. I would not stay at this hotel again. The pros of this hotel are: the location 15 mins from downtown and clackamas area, Woodburn outlet malls are 45 mins away if you love to shop, free parking, and free wifi. ...

The staff was misinformed and disorganized, we were given the wrong room twice and made to wait, twice, in the hellishly hot lobby with our two year old while they sorted it out. The "amenities' were less than desirable, the indoor pool was a humid mess, 'breakfast' was bread or cereal, no fruit, no juice, no protein at all, and the room walls are paper thin.

The location is okay but when we got to our room, there were very disgusting, huge black and oily stains on the sheets. The room was dirty and the air-conditioning in the whole hotel was not working (it was at least 100 degrees that day. We understand that air-conditioners can break and that was unfortunate, but there is no excuse for the large gross stains all over the sheets.
