Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Charleston-Historic District
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Great location, right across the street from the free trolley, and we LOVED our room on the first floor which opened up to the courtyard area. We could come and go through the courtyard, a very nice feature. Kids loved the bean bag toss game in the courtyard. Waffles for breakfast a nice surprise. Coffee Tea and Hot Chocolate served all day long in the lobby came in handy. Would definitely recommend to families. ...

If you're looking for location this is the best hotel to get. Especially for going downtown, nightlife, and staying in the historic ddistrict. Everything is walking distance! Staff is really nice, even gave us a 30 minute extension for check out.

The hotel is on Meeting street and John Street, right behind the visitor center and CARTA (bus authority), so it is very convenient to get information about the city. The room is quiet and comfortable. The staff are friendly. But the breakfast is somewhat boring - - same food every day. I recommend it anyway.
