Hampton Inn Denver-Southwest/Lakewood

Good location. Definitely rates 2 1/2 stars plus.

I reserved a king. Called to make sure we could have ground floor near entrance. Was told it would be two queens rather than king, this was ok but the room had one queen. The bed was hard did.not sleep well. The heater did not operate well, the fan did not work on auto so it ran all the time.

I was under the impression you went to a hotel to get away from racket. Very dissatisfied. There was a hotel full of teenagers for some tournament, VERY noisy. Crying baby in the next room and the wailing came right through the paper-thin walls at our headboard, thus a lousy night's sleep. An overall unpleasant experience. I go to a hotel to get away from that kind of racket.

Breakfast changed each day, not the same old thing each day.

In my opinion, the Hampton Inn-Lakewood Southwest should have a higher star rating. This is by any standards a three star hotel at least.

great location, great service, great staff.

We stayed at the hotel because it is close to our family members. The price is always great. We love the morning buffet. the staff is always helpful and courteous. The whole place has a great atmosphere and it is fun to stay there. We utilized the gym and we were grateful to get a work out in while being away from home. The gym was clean and comfortable. I like that there is a TV in there so that you don't get to board with the work-out. The gym was clean and quiet. We miss not having a pool but do understand that it is too cold out for an outside pool. I really do not have anything to complain about and would recommend it to a friend. ...read more
