Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Harrisburg/Grantville/Hershey
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. The air conditioner is old style window mounted and very loud. Stay away from this hotel if you can. I am very surprised they hold the Hampton name. It has changed now how I now look at Hampton Inns.

This hotel was clean and well looked after. Our rooms met our expectations. We traveled with 2 preteen boys. The breakfast was very tasty, it filled them up which is a good indicator that there was plenty. We didn't have the time to swim in the pool but would have if it could have opened a bit earlier.

Checked out the photos. Especially on the indoor pools, as we planned ahead for indoor activity in case the weather did not cooperate. The pool looked large in the photo as compared to others and it lived up to our expectations. We arrived in the evening and our 2 young grand-children were able to swim until 10 p.m. with their dad which gave my husband and I time to unpack and unwind from our 3 hour road trip. Friday the weather was not too great so we decided to spend the majority of the day in the pool, and unbelievably we had the whole pool for our family of 5. The steaming whirlpool alleviated my back and muscle pain so greatly that the following day I was able to walk Hershey Park from one end to the other (a task usually rough on my arthritis). The kitchen area had the essentials, small refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The bathroom was large. The king size bed was so comfortable that falling to sleep was a dream. We brought an air mattress in case the sofa bed was not comfortable. However, we did not need it as the sofa bed proved to be very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace in the living room area. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with so many choices of breakfast items. The coffee could not have been hotter and was also delicious. Free morning newspaper. The staff is very friendly. We were given fresh towels and linens daily during our stay. I would recommend the Hampton Inn to anyone, especially with children. ...
