Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Monroe

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I booked the incorrect night (entirely my mistake), and the hotel staff said they were booked the night I needed despite it being available online. Lost the money, and stayed at a different hotel in same city.
It was clearly my mistake, but the staff lied to me.

It was located in Monroe.
The room we received was a smoking room, and it stank. They told us to contact priceline, which wasn't possible, as I was already away from home and the last thing I want to do is dig through email. Roadwork outside the hotel was an inconvenience.

Make sure you book a NON-SMOKING ROOM, if that's what you expect. Staff at this hotel WILL NOT HELP YOU make a change from Smoking to NON-smoking.

The staff was nice and pleasant.
My hotel room door was open (key card was not necessary) i had to call the front desk and someone had to come fix problem. I had my Government work laptop, had this been stolen it would have been devastating. The tissue holder was about to come out wall

The bed was comfortable. The staff was great. I love to eat fresh fruit but the fruit was being recycled and you can't keep doing that with cantalope and honeydew melon. Other than the issue i had with my door I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again.

When we arrived the maids were finishing cleaning the room, we were early. The fact that they were putting fresh duvea covers on the bed made me feel c
Satisfied with the room, the cleanliness of the room And the staff. We arrived early , about an hour, and it was no big deal.

I did not like that I did not have the option to cancel if Necessary.

The staff was helpful although their appearance could have been more professional.
The guest at the hotel were very noisy during the night.

This would not be a hotel I would choose for any future visits.

I believe that her name was Melanie and she was the manager on duty. She was very friendly and helpful.
The location. It was off the highway and the road out front was under heavy construction. Not the hotel's fault, but not knowing the area, it made it a little difficult to drive in at night.

After booking on Priceline, we drove up and were a little disappointed because we did not expect the rooms to be accessed from the outside. We checked in and the girl at the desk was very friendly. Once in the room, we instantly changed our minds about our perception of the room. It was really nice and clean. We liked that it had a fridge and microwave. We had a king sized bed and a loveseat that converted to a couch. We all slept comfortably. If you didn't know it, you'd think that the room was in an enclosed hotel. No outside noises or anything. The continental breakfast was very good and the staff kept everything hot and fresh. Overall, I was impressed and would definitely stay in a Hampton again. ...read more

I did not care for the location of the hotel, rooms were outside, unsafe environment.
Wish I had known the rooms were outside.

The hotel was close to the interstate. Rooms were clean, but not fresh. Plenty of towels, rooms clean. Road construction made it difficult to get to. Breakfast was good.
