Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center

Some staff was very nice. The 1 room that was paid for for Saturday night the 8th was not available at check in. A clerk told me they had been trying to reach me to advise of a problem. There were no messages left on any phone including my cell there were no message left under my room door. On Friday the 7th I was advised all rooms were ready and available. I was very impressed with the decor of the lobby and how nice all the staff was. I needed help mailing a large FedEx box and one of the bell men went out of his way to help me. The rooms were quiet and had very comfortable beds. Nice showers, hearty full breakfasts each morning and located right across the street from the convention center.

Very clean. We were upgraded when we got there. Enjoyed the lemon water, hot cookies, and breakfast foods. Coffee bar was great. The fact that it was so close to the convention center where we were was very nice, and that we were able to leave our luggage and car parked until we were done at the Convention Center. Would have been nice to have been able to go back to room and change, but understand the check-out reasons. ...read more

The staff was nice and very helpful, the rooms were spacious. our friends stayed at the W hotel. our room was much larger than theirs.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close enough to the night life yet still far enough away to feel safe. There was a $29.96 valet parking fee to park at the hotel or you had to park on the street. You have to pay a meter if you park on the street so I paid the valet fee where I knew my car was safe. The hotel was very nice, attractive in keeping with New Orleans Style. Clean and the people friendly and helpful especially the valets.
