Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was very close to the cruise terminal (the reason for our stay). It was very clean and the staff went out of their way to help us find a restaurant nearby.
Nope, it was great!

This hotel is very close to the cruise terminal. It is also walking distance to several great restaurants nearby (we walked to a great Cajun restaurant, Mulate's) and the French Quarter if you don't mind a bit of a walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they helped us find a restaurant nearby that was exactly what we were looking for. They do charge to park overnight, but all of the hotels we looked at in this area do that. If you're staying on a Sunday night, there's free (safe) parking right in front of the hotel (the staff actually recommended this to us). ...read more

They would not let me park my car there like the past 3 years.

Very clean hotel with wonderful hot breakfast daily.
A bit of a walk to the French Quarter area attractions, but worth it if you don't mind walking.

1 room was nor available at the last minute when checking in.

Some staff was very nice. The 1 room that was paid for for Saturday night the 8th was not available at check in. A clerk told me they had been trying to reach me to advise of a problem. There were no messages left on any phone including my cell there were no message left under my room door. On Friday the 7th I was advised all rooms were ready and available. This was a family reunion and this ruined the entire trip. I do expect to hear from someone and do expect some financial adjustment. ...read more

It is a renovated Warehouse across from the Convention Center with very good Valet Service. The free breakfast was great and the room was very nices.
They didn't tell us there is NO SELF PARKING AND YOU HAVE TO PAY 29.95 FOR VALET SERVICE.

The hotel was very nice, attractive in keeping with New Orleans Style. Clean and the people friendly and helpful especially the valets.

I like the general location of the hotel, and the breakfast provided by the hotel.
The parking, You HAD to use valet, and did not have open access to your vehicle.

Hotel was very nice for the price. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful.

Surprisingly beautiful inside; antique feel and about a twenty minute walk to everything exciting!
Parking is expensive but you can find free parking nearby if you look.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing, and the little courtyard and pool was perfect. We were not expecting such a neat space after seeing the big brick building from the outside, but this was easily my favorite hotel I've stayed in.
