Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Tupelo

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast area was super clean and well maintained.
I did not like that this was a motel. For the star level and the Hampton Inn name, I expected better. The rooms were noisy because of the outside doorways.

This is not a typical Hampton Inn. While the rooms are nicely furnished and maintained, this is a re-modeled motel. The rooms have doors to the outside instead of having interior hallways. This makes for noisy rooms and created a bit of a security concern for me. Our room was also not comfortable temperature-wise as the room had a standard motel window unit. As I mentioned, the rooms are nice and clean. I just expected more from the name/star rating. As a positive, I haven't meet a nicer hotel staff. They were very friendly and answered our many questions with a smile. They also worked hard to maintain a clean, well-stocked breakfast buffet. ...read more

nice room, clean, High Def tv channels, could have been more selection of channels. Shower, towels, coffee in room, frig all were helpful. Night I was there it was very quiet. A/C controlled on wall.I could run fan separately
Location was a little off the Interstate but OK

Kind of out of the way, but a good hotel for the price. I have been in higher star rooms on Priceline that were not near as nice.

The hotel has a GREAT staff. As a business traveler I have had items FedEx'd to me that were very important, they see these things as important as I do. The breakfast is tremendous, great coffee. Rooms are great.
The proximity of the hotel to places to eat. The location of plug ins are not configured to allow remote office, i.e. laptop, printer, phone charger,

Great staff, rooms always in good condition. Great breakfast in the morning. The location is not great, though. I prefer a hotel that has dining within walking distance. The entrance to the hotel off of McCullough Blvd is not good, either. One has to either attempt a left turn against heavy traffic, or, from the other direction, get into the right hand turn lane (very short) as soon as one exits. Accident waiting to happen. ...read more

Yes the staff was awesome.
Yes the room was small and we had to go up two flights of stairs. No elevator.I would have like to know that before we gotten there.

Ask about stairs before you get there.Everything was great. The service was great and the breakfast was the best we had ever had out of all the hotels we had stayed in.

The cook and the ladies at the front desk.
They said they couldnt make the beds because our kids stuffed animals were on it how stupid is that. The morning we left the guy working the front desk was trying to hit on my daughter, not cool.

I asked Priceline for a room downstairs because of our little ones non smoking and we got an upstairs smoking room. The lady at the desk said Priceline messed everything up,but i dont understand why they couldn't move us the place was empty. I have stayed there the last 3 times but i guess its time for a change.

The water temp was poor. The staff was unpolished. I was given 6 room keys and non worked. Staff let me in to unpack and go get me another key. Later it didn't work either so I had to repack my belongings and move to another room.

Don't recommend to anyone and not sure I will use Priceline again after this experience.

Did not provide a down drive up room as was requested in the reservation! Instead, an upstairs handicap room. Heat in the bathroom was not adequate.
