Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hampton Inn Valdosta/Lake Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 8, 2013

I got charged by the hotel because they told me they did not get paid by Priceline. One of the lady (front desk manager) informed me that it was my responsiblity to ensure that Priceline pays them! I showed her a Priceline receipt that I had already paid for the room. She stated that the hotel computer did not reflect this fact. I will be contacting both you (Priceline) and the hotel (again) to rectify this double-billed situation. To add insult to injury, her front desk billing ($ XX) was a lesser amount than the Priceline ($XX) 'deal' that I booked. I will need to be reassured as to WHY I should remain a Priceline customer.

shower went from hot to cold. Breakfast was another mess, counters were dirty, toasters were all stuck with bagels and bread, tables were not cleaned. Very disappointed

We picked this hotel while taking the kids to wild adventures. The staff was friendly, everything seemed very clean. It happens to have many places to eat around it which is good(cracker barrel, pizza hut, wendys, sonnys, chick fila, zaxbys). We usually pick a holiday inn but I found that I liked the hampton inn much better. It rained while we were there so we got to see every inch of the hotel for kids amusement and everything was clean. As I said the breakfast was alot more than you would expect for free breakfast.I was very impressed with make your own waffles.awesome! The fitness area was very nice if you want to workout. All in all I don't see where you could go wrong with this hotel. ...

Nice quiet place to stay if passing through. Priceline indicated a Noon checkout, but checkout is really at 11am.

Room was very clean and spacious. Several eating places in close proximity. While they were fast food or chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrel, they served their purpose for an overnight stop on the way to Florida. This is definitely our "go to" place when travelling to Florida. A great buy.

The hotel was nice, smaller than expected. When I arrived, the hotel was booked full with no extra rooms. I booked a nonsmoking room and was given a smoking room. I was told that since the hotel was full there was no other room to put me in. They also couldn't give me a discount since I was a prepay. Also had a problem with the key card not working in my room door. Took about 40 minutes to get me into my room at midnight. However, the front desk clerk was very sweet (can't say that about the maintenance man who was upset she called him so late).
