Hotel Guest Reviews of the Handlery Hotel And Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location on Hotel Circle North is great. Close to Fashion Valley Ctr, golf course and trolly (MTS Light Rail).
The room, while clean at the surface, wasn't so much once one stepped in the room. Examples: 1) Walked out on the patio and there was a used soda can on the table. 2) Wanted to use a bathroom glass to use for my toothbrush-both dirty.

The hotel is in decent working order but it looks long overdue for a renovation. My room has great linens to go along with a Plasma. However there was textured wallpaper that appeared to be laid over water damage or worn drywall (lots of bubbling). It appears to be a great bargain/budget level resort in terms of the room (say 2-1/2 star) but with on-site amenities similar 3-1/2 to 4 star services with rent-a-car, concierge, and beauty shop on site. ...read more

Good location but its a little older. The lobby looks redone. They have a flat screen TV that is new and marble top in the room (not in the bathroom), but the carpet needs to be updated.
This is an ala carte hotel so the rate is low but expect to pay for everything. The bathroom was outdated and therefore not as clean looking.

The food was good but overpriced in my opinion. The parking is $12 extra per night. The carpet in the room needs to be updated. The bathrooms need updating. Good location and friendly staff though. The Wifi is included which is nice. Beds were comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff, including their shuttle driver.
The bathtub and sink did not drain quickly.

- Friendly staff, complimentary shuttle to nearby sites, gym with basic cardio equipment and dumbbells.- Sink and bathtub drained very slowly but the room was otherwise clean.- Closes Trolley station is approx 15 minutes walk, but the free shuttle can drop you off/ pick you up.

Convenient laundry room, parking near the entrance and my room. Easy to get from the room to my car.
They put business guests and people clearly on holiday (with children/pets) in close proximity, despite having ample vacancies. There is little soundproofing in this hotel and any noise from above, next door or outside is transmitted. I specifically as

Price paid and proximity to airport.
No

Older hotel that appears fairly well maintained and updated although bathroom in my room had some minor housekeeping and maintenance issues.

The hotel was really close to a lot of main attractions.
The room was just an average room, not much better than a motel. The staff was loud every morning. We got a room right next to the housekeeping station and every morning by 6:00
we would gear them taking and laughing right outside of our room.

For the nightly rate that we bid for this room, it was fine. But I would not spend a penny over what we paid. And I would definitely never pay their full price. The only upside of this hotel is the location. You are only a short drive away from everything. But no where in this hotel gives you the feeling that it is a 3 star hotel.

Location, the pool, food was good.
Hot water in bathroom hardly worked, TV reception was poor, $8 a day for parking and no free wi-fi.

I would not stay here again due to the parking fee for guest and a charge for wi-fi (come on it's 2012 and you have to charge your guests for wi-fi).
