Hotel Guest Reviews of the Harbourview Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 6, 2013

There really isn't a place to eat here, though the breakfast and snacks throughout the day will keep you filled up.

This is a medium-sized Inn located in a very convenient part of Historic Charleston on the water. We usually get another hotel a little farther up the peninsula, but we hope to get this one from now on. Inn has a continental breakfast that can come to your room, come to the atrium, or come to the rooftop terrace. Room is large, clean and has everything. Yes, you pay for valet parking (no self parking), but that is par for being in a historic district. Lots of restaurants, art galleries, historic sites, etc. within quick walking distance. You don't need your car once you are here. ...

I travel to Charleston at least once or twice every year. While this was a short stay this time, this hotel impressed me. Great location - very convenient! Staff was most helpful. Amenities were great. This is one of the best hotels, that I have stayed in while visiting Charleston!

We were very happy with all the features of this hotel, the Harbourview Inn...our room, the location and the staff. It was definitely a genuine 4 star hotel. We would love to return someday. The little perks were especially appreciated...the yummy cookies at night, the wine and cheese in th afternoon and the complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is a converted old warehouse. It is right on the water and next to a huge waterfront park. Many restaurants and bars are within 1 block of the hotel. There is a valet service which is essential. The parking in this area is non existent without a parking pass. Ask for a room with the waterfront view.

We enjoyed the facility and the central location. We parked the car when we arrived and did not need it again until we left to go home. Our meal reservations were taken care of - which was greatly appreciated. All the restaurants that were suggested were excellent.

We stayed there last year, and highly recommended it to our friends this year. Six of us went and they enjoyed it also.
