Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hawaiian Inn Beach Resort
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

The location on the beach was excellent, the room was a little out dated but the room was clean, the pool area and tiki bar was great, the bartender was awesome, some of the front desk staff seemed uptight, or unfriendly, but not all of them!

I was told the $75 "deposit" was just that, a deposit, until checking out the woman said no it was part of my room charge. So the room was more expensive than what Priceline booked me for. We figured being further south from the main bar area of daytona it would be quieter, but the hotel seemed to be a major college spring break destination. During the day there were drunk people yelling and running around the hotel. Nighttime was horrible, was woke up several times a night until 4 am from parties. The room was big and spacious but the stove and microwave were old and rusty, I was afraid to use them. The tiki bar outside was only open from about 1 pm to 6 pm, and there weren't any bars in walking distance so we had to take a taxi. The pool area was spacious and nice. ...

This hotel is a nice and affordable. Its spaces and lots of things to do with in the hotel itself with an indoor and outdoor pool the weather wouldn't be an issue which is always nice with little ones. Its on the beach not to close to board walk but not to far. SO if your looking for a room that you want have to drive for attractions, I wouldn't go with this hotel. If your looking for upscale rooms and services than I wouldn't chose this room. ...

It was terrible experience. I will never go back to that hotel. The main thing wrong with it is it is in bad repair and dirty. I am a transplant patient and things have to be clean and sanitary & the hotel certainly wasn't. I was scared the entire time I was there. I left there sick from having my bed directly in front of a air conditioner that ran all the time, no mater what you set the thermostat on. Would not recommend to anyone.
