Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Killeen Fort Hood
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

Location of this hotel is really good. All kinds of resturaunts in walking distance and a nice resturaunt inside as well. Staff was super friendly and knowledgable. The room, although its a newer hotel, seems a little dated. However, it was clean and very comfortable. With Walmart a couple hundred feet away and a kitchen, this hotel is an easy choice for any priceliners looking for an extended stay where you can prepare your own food. ...

Would like lower rates as often as we come! Other than that, it's always quiet, clean, and relaxing. Michael at the front is always at his best in customer service. The breakfast bacon is too thin and no flavor, but that doesn't keep us from visiting regularly!

I highly recommend this hotel! It is located right on the main Expressway which made it easy to get to Ft. Hood and any restaurant you can think of. It's walking distance to Wal-Mart, several fast food restaurant and Golden Corral. The mall is across the street! We had a full suite with a king bed and a pull out couch and it was very roomy. I didn't here any footsteps above us which is one of my biggest annoyances when staying at a hotel. They offered a hot breakfast with lots of choices and snacks on weekday evenings! I would definitely stay here again! ...

Enjoyed the suite. Wish the water had been hotter. Not much room around the sink but that could've been because I was in a handicapped room. Wish I'd have requested non smoking room. Real coffee cups and silverware at breakfast was a plus!

The rooms were very clean. The towels were in great shape. The staff was very friendly. Please check the windows to be sure they are locked. I really liked have real silverware in the rooms to eat my take out food.

When I was ready for bed, I pulled back the sheets and there was a live bug present on the bed. Did not take time to identify it, just brushed it off. Then I noticed an ant when I was brushing my teeth. The next morning I went to take a shower and there was multiple hairs present in the shower. I also noticed one on the sink. The sink could stand to be upgraded, showing stress cracks near the drain. Overall not happy with housekeeping. ...

I have stayed here before, my biggest complaint the first time was the temperature of the room. I thought it was just that room, so I came back again. Different room, same issue. Put the AC on 60, and it was only about 2 degrees cooler than outside. I see why people open the windows in midsummer. I would not return here in any warm months.
