Hotel Guest Reviews of the Heritage Inn Picayune
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.January 11, 2013

For the price ($60 a night for one person), this was no bargain. I have stayed in hotels that were just as good, or better, that were less than $40 a night. There was a hole in the shower. The light over the vanity worked sporadically. The room was very old, the bed hard, and chairs uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was very sparse, consisting of bread, corn flakes, Cheerios, milk and some store bought doughnuts.Neither the room, nor the building, I was lodged in were what was pictured in the advertisement. The ad should disclose that a newer multi-story building is displayed, but the guest may be put in a much older single story building that is adjacent to the newer building. ...

Place looks like a deserted motel but the place is very clean. Radio in the room did not work and tv is small, but wi-fi is a lot faster than other brand name hotels and microwave and fridge are included. Bathroom is clean but toilet seat has signs of paint peel possibly due to repeated cleaning using strong bleach. There is not many selections for complimentary breakfast but you get what you pay for. ...

For the past several months I have been staying here about every 6 weeks; upon check-in, I asked for a one time exception and was refused. Since I was traveling with other family members this time and wanted a room nearby I asked to be in the newer section just this one time and they would not make an exception without charging me more. I paid the extra but will never stay with them again. There are too many other motels to choose from in that area. ...

Good for the price. The continental breakfast could stand some improvement.

If you just need a place to crash, this hotel fits the bill. No frills. "Just a clean, comfortable room, at an affordable rate." The only thing missing was the connection to Motel 6.

We stayed in the older building of the hotel. The rooms were very clean. The newer building seemed very appealing as well. Very nice staff.
