Hotel Guest Reviews of the High Desert Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I guess it was cheap price, other than that, would have rather paid more and had updated room.
Shabby carts, elevators long ways from front door, questionable clientèle, felt very 3rd rate.

Needs updating, lamps need to be checked, new carpeting and furniture. Just not up to our standards, was not paying much attention to the rating, but anything looks good on the computer, actual can be way less. Will be off our list when we travel through Elko. No restaurant either, and they mentioned a few surrounding ones, but no voucher, etc. Just very disappointed.

Leaving
No clock that work had replaced no action taken.

I found the staff
not willing to address my problem after leaving notes and changing clocks that did not work (2).

Nothing
Filthy, broken down, shabby

We checked in, lobby was dingy, shabby, dirty carpets, went to room, carpets dirty, bathroom had not been cleaned, shower curtain had black oily finger prints, light shades were taped together, bedspreads had seen better days. A very disappointing experience, will not ever stay there again.

It is close to the interstate. Easy to find.
The pool water was cloudy. The hot tub was not working.

It was fine, but the pool needed help. It might be because the pool is open a lot of hours, which was a plus for us.

Very old. Handicapped rooms were on first floor only. The entire floor was not being used because of renovation.

This hotel was in renovation. Ice Maker was not working. It might be suitable when the remodel is complete.

Convenient to freeway.
Rather outdated.

At check-in, desk clerk was very unfriendly, totally ignored me standing there while talking on phone. There appeared to be a lot of weekly renters of possibly workers in the area with barbeque pits outside the room. I will not stay there again. Check-out was a little better.
