Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hillsdale-Days Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The receptionist
was the most unpleasant person I have dealt with in years.
There's not much choice in thenHillsdale area but I will never stay here again.

Stay in Jonesville or the Hillsdale College Dow Center.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and fillinG. Location is good, near everything, felt safe.
The shampoo isn't very good. conditioner would be nice!

The hotel was great! check in was smooth and quick. We got a king room, number 123. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The beds were soft and the pillows big and fluffy. wifi worked great. Shower was nice and hot. bring your own shampoo & conditioner, like many hotels, theirs are not very good. We slept great, it was quiet! Breakfast was good and filling. They had biscuits and gravy(really good), waffles, breads, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, juices, and coffee. We did not get to use the pool. I would imagine it was nice and warm because there was always people in it! Chech out was quick and painless! ...read more

The breakfast in the morning has improved greatly from previous stay
The semi truck parked outside my room that started up every hour or so to run for 5 minutes was quite distracting to my sleep. The room was clean, but smelled Like a wet dog.

I stay here every year during December for hunting. Its in a convenient location, and the aren't a lot of choices in the area. The staff is always nice, the breakfast is good for free continental-style breakfast. The rooms and the sheets are clean, however, it did smell of a wet dog musty smell. There is always construction crews staying here, which is fine, but for god sakes would they please park the trucks somewhere further away so u don't have to listen to them running so early in the morning when warming up. There were semi trucks parked in the lot overnight as well, which created parking issues, besides the refrigerator truck starting up and shutting down all night. ...read more

Rooms were dirty.

This is quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed at. It was dirty. The rooms were small and dark. I was concerned about finding things crawling in the beds. Paint was peeling on the walls. A completly unpleasant stay.

For town and venue directions, overflow seating for breakfast and more the staff were very helpful.

We personally benefitted by the good rest and refreshment provided there during our visit to a local college.

Late check-in was welcomed. That was important.
The back-entry door was tricky, but we were warned in advance.

This hotel is a great location and value when visiting Hillsdale.
