Extremely disappointed with this hotel as I was told it was one of the best hotels in Houston. It is a beautiful hotel but the level of customer service does not equal the beautiful environment. Valet personnel were rude. Attempted to book an appt in the salon which had advertised opening time of 8am a day ahead of time. I was told that they had to verify someone would actually come in at 8am and would call me back to confirm an appt. They never called so the one day I had to relax during this trip and enjoy some spa services did not happen. I feel I overpaid considering the level of service and certainly expected more. ...

If you're a leisure traveler, you'd probably be better off at the Howard Johnson. The Wi-Fi isn't free and there was no fridge or microwave in the room. I suppose it makes sense; if you've got a company credit-card, you don't mind little things like having to throw leftovers or shelling out cash for what should be a free amenity.

Adjacent to Convention Center which makes it a good conference hotel. The parking and restaurant prices are expensive, but the location is good if you don't have a car to take public transportation and there are many restaurants and other hotels within walking distance. The rooms are standard Hilton, not exceptional, but clean. Internet is not including in the room rate unless you are a Honors Gold member. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
There was no problem getting a room with 2 beds, and the young man that checked us in ask if we wanted a room up high so we would be able to see downtown Houston. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean.
