Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Atlanta Airport
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 15, 2013

When I checked in I was given a king room. I was with my mom and 3 children. Went to front desk to get switched to double room and was told that there were none but for $15 extra I could have a rollaway. Front desk then told me that this was the compromise for booking through Priceline. They did eventually put us in a smoking double room, but my son had coughing fits all night and I woke up with an asthma attack. The second night, however, Chenea at front desk was able to get us a nonsmoking double room. I was further frustrated when my parking was not on key card and I had to go back into hotel to get out of the parking lot. The hotel was very well kept and most of the staff was friendly and helpful, but the initial hours (when I was exhausted from driving 7 hrs and just wanted to rest) were miserable and I don't think I will return here. Really did not like being treated like a second class guest because I booked on Priceline. And I am also hesitant to book again through Priceline unless I am travelling alone. ...

This hotel overbooked themselves and only had a smoking room available for us. The lady at the front desk blatantly told me that because I made my reservation through Priceline, I was not her priority customer and she had to give my reservation away to a customer who paid them directly. After a long back and fourth between she and I, she found a couch in a penthouse to be available and gave us the option to sleep in that room. By 2 AM we finally laid down on the couch and realized that it smelled like cocoa butter lotion and had to request extra sheets to try and create a barrier between us and that couch. In the past 3 years I've travelled to 48 states taking over 250 flights and staying in over 150 hotels and this was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. I never expected this kind of service from the Hilton. I asked for some sort of refund or credit to stay in the kind of room I paid for but was told the only thing she could compensate for us was paying for parking and a free "continental breakfast" (cereal, bagels and yogurt). Long story short, I paid to sleep on couch for about 5 hours because some lady overbooked and treated me like trash because I booked through Priceline. This was a terrible decision. ...
