Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was modern, cleanish (long black hairs in the bathroom)and spacious. Other than the hair in the bathroom, the room was great. Would have liked a mini fridge, though. Best part is the staff, who were warm and friendly and anxious to help.
Would have liked a fridge in the room.

Great location. Right downtown and close to attractions.

The room service was great for a hotel. Breakfast was delicious! The rooftop deck overlooking the Mississippi River is amazing! Great service.
Not that it was a problem but the King-sized room we stayed in was small so of you are traveling with a child there is not much extra room.

We had a large beautful room overlooking the pool/river view.
I would have loved to have a balcony.... which was one floor above us..

Over all the hotel was great. The one thing that bothered us was the fact that we stayed over with family for a wedding. There was a downpour when we were ready to leave for the church. There was no way to get into the vehicles without getting wet. There should be a nice sheltered boarding and unloading area. This hotel is directly on the street without an awning.

the rooms were considerably smaller than I expected; bathroom was very small

this hotel was very convenient to walking distance of downtown attractions, it offered shuttle/bus services to other area attractions which was especially nice

Clean and friendly.
The room was overlooking roofs and not very scenic.

Older hotel, located in downtown Baton Rouge. Very accessible via auto and close to many points of interest near the river.

The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The service was impeccable.
A little trouble with getting to the hotel because of festival/roadblock...but we made it fine.

The Hilton Baton Rouge Capital is a great hotel with wonderful staff, great bar and food. We attended a wedding reception in the Ballroom catered by the hotel, which was wonderful.

We where given the worst room in the hotel, 2nd floor right above the front entrance. Noisy.

Rooms and public areas finished to a high standard. River facing rooms are much more desirable. I would not stay again without a river facing view. Our room on the street side of the hotel was noisy.
