Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Boston Back Bay
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(18) | Solo Traveler(31) | Traveling as Couple(42) | Family with Young Children(8) | Family with Teens(12) | Senior Traveler(1) | Group Traveler(6)

Convenient location. Because it was a little distanced from some of the other hotels in the area I was able to get easy parking on the street which was nice. Staff was polite and efficient.
There was a brown water mark on the tub that made it look a little dirty. The minibar was empty and somewhat dirty inside. It would have been nice if there had been a mini bar with some waters.

It was just about perfect , nothing I can complain about. Great staff. Parking is always hard in Boston.

Location
Cost of parking was a little outrageous especially with the cost of the room. Also, free wi-GI not being available was a first for me at a Hilton location.
Aside from the location, I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone. I feel you can get more for your money at other locations.

The location was perfect for our visit to Boston. We could walk to Newbury Street and Bolyston Street to grab a bite to eat and to shop. The hotel was very accommodating to let us check in early.

Easy location, great rooms and beds
They charge $45.00 for overnight parking. This is so unfair. These charges should be barred or at least revealed before purchase. This is NOT an "incidental" charge. It's a racket.

The location is great. The Prudential Center is a very short walk as well as other attractions. The hotel staff was very friendly.
This hotel does not have free wi-fi in your room. However, it does have a nice business center with wi-fi & at least 4 computers with printers in the lobby.
The hotel address is 40 Dalton St. However, the main entrance is around the corner on Belvedere St.

I really appreciated the help offered by Josephine at the Concierge desk. The front desk was also helpful and very accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable.
It didn't seem like there was enough staff in the bar/restaurant and they were slightly less friendly.
This was very convenient for visiting colleges. The concierge (Josephine) was especially helpful with explaining the local transportation system. The hotel was clean, convenient and comfortable.
