Everything you would want in a hotel, this hotel has: clean rooms, friendly staff and convenient location.

I was visiting my son who attends Virginia Tech. This hotel is conveniently located to the college and easy access to major roads. The hotel is new and clean. The staff is one of the friendliest group of people I have ever met in a hotel lobby.

Convienent location, reliable internet connection, clean, friendly staff.
Would be nice if it had a free breakfast buffet. Indoor pool fairly small. Pretty antiseptic appearance, just another motel appearance.

Nothing.
Everything. First, my room was on the 1st floor next to the elevator and lobby and the walls were paper thin. Second, the housekeeping staff was rude and annoying. Lastly, fire alarms falsely sounded at 6am and they offered no apologies or explanations.

Way overpriced for the poor quality of the hotel. Next time, I'll plan ahead better and stay at the Inn at VA Tech or Main Street Inn instead.

The room was ckean & the staff was nice & courteous. My kids loved the chocolate cookies. :)
The location is a little secluded.

The staff was very nice & professional. The room was clean & the free wi fi really made my days. Easy free parking & the free chocolate chip cookies & free coffee were all great! I regretted not bringing a bathingsuit because the indoor hot tub was so inviting. I would also want to bring some workout clothes & shoes for the exercise room too. I didn't plan on bringing those because I thought the pool/hot tub & the treadmills were probably located in some place out of sight but they were not & the rooms came with glass doors so you are quite safe... ...read more

Having to buy breakfast when so many offer it for free!!

This hotel is a very short distance from Virginia Tech making it an excellent choice. Room was well appointed, updated, and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
