Very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.

Excellent choice when visiting the Eugene area. While not walking distance from the college, this is a solid place to stay. Good selection of restaurants within 3-4 blocks, grocery store, department stores nearby. Request a room on the "Gateway" side if you're going to have a window open, otherwise there can be significant road noise. The grounds were beautiful. I went to this hotel with my 11 year old daughter. I felt that this hotel was very family friendly. I liked the pool and Jacuzzi area but the pool was super small. They had a great exercise room with at least one each of the equipment you would find at a gym. I wish they had better beds because I really would have liked to go back to this hotel, but the beds were so hard that they messed up my back. ...read more

I was pleased with the ambiance of the hotel. The hotel staff was efficient and courteous. The bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant. There was fresh coffee and hot water in the lobby throughout the day and evening. I enjoyed using the exercise room both days I was there. Although I did not use the inside pool there was a lot of happy sounds coming from it; the kids and their parents were enjoying themselves.
