Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Garden Inn Hampton Coliseum Central

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

furnishings, luggage carts.. size of room, microwave/refrig ..tv/ parking right in front.. quiet ventilation system.. they even put ice machine in separate room for noise control..free internet
very little.. underlit in refrig area.. I'd have put an outlet on the wall near the bed for charging items, or in the lamp base.. remote control for t.v. was annoying. had to sit and scroll forever to get to anything. wow. I lost interest..

somewhat mirroring the experience I had at a recent hotel of the same name.. this place has what you need. Attractive entrance and lobby. nice furnishings.. bar, café, friendly cheerful staff at desk, adorable small luggage carts / intelligent design. Morning coffee in lobby . ..attractive sitting areas in lobby.. also bar.... pool was inviting, exercise room, nice rugs in hallways.. my room was spacious , kind of art deco furniture in room, granite counter at coffee area and bathroom.. microwave, refrigerator, flatscreen t.v. comfortable bed with firmness controls !!! ventilation system is quiet.. parking was good, near tons of restaurants and shopping. needs improvement in....under lit a little, needs light in coffee area, very minimal housekeeping, she didn't replace toilet paper or clean toilet.. remote control for t.v. has no information you have to scroll channel by channel, tedious and annoying. some daily deal movies for $ 4.99 but all others very expensive $ 16. free internet. all in all these negatives did not spoil anything and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. ...read more

Walking distance to convention center. Across from a strip mall.
Specific cleanliness observations: a fine cedar colored sticky substance was on the bathroom door. The lower mattress had a 2 cm x 2 cm gunk spot. The sheets had black marks on them. The air handler (air conditioner) was ladened with dust bunnies.

easy access to shopping and entertainment.
the pool was very small

this hotel was in a great location to the event that we were attending that weekend. There were plenty of shopping and easy access to museums for the children. However if you want do laps in the morning for your exercise the pool was extremely small.

Location, clean and nice gym
Jacuzzi did not work, you have to pay for your breakfast when all the nearby hotels give free breakfast and the front desk male not so cordial.

Nice lobby, indoor pool and hot tub. Good location.
I got a room with the Worst view ever, all I could see was the roof line of the main entrance and AC units.

A FANTASTIC LOCATION IN REGARD TO THE HAMPTON COLISEUM. ACTUALLY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
THE TELEVISION IN THE ROOM WAS ADEQUATE, HOWEVER, I HAVE STAYED AT OTHER HOTELS THAT HAD LARGER SCREENS IN THE ROOMS. NOT A HUGE CONCERN, BUT I WAS INTERESTED IN WATCHING THE NFL PLAYOFFS.

A NICE HOTEL.CLEAN SPACIOUS ROOM. GOOD LOCATION TO HAMPTON ARENA, STORES, AND EATERIES.BREAKFAST NOT FREE. ONE OF THE EVENING DESK ATTENDANTS SEEMED A BIT MISERABLE. NOT RUDE, BUT CERTAINLY WOULDN'T CLASSIFY UNDER FRIENDLY.
