Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful even to my friends who had arrived before without any hassles. I smile the whole time.
In regards to Priceline, I deem the service as not being very compassionate. One of the mothers (my best friend/sister) daughter, age 23 took ill while we were in NOLA. The results turned out to be devastating. Cancer, 0% survival, left early, no refund.

Pick a place with better criteria that allows for emergency situations.

We stayed for two nights. Staff treated us well, gave us maps, answered our questions, etc.
Our room was next to an exterior door. The door closed loudly and shook our wall. Noise from the room above us was excessively loud, as if amplified. My impression is that this room has had these bad quirks all along. Our room was not a good room.

One gets what one pays for. We paid less and we got less. The staff politely listened to our complaint regarding the loud noises but a fix was not made during our stay; in all other regards the staff was very helpful. The noises were loud and not so infrequent. Our stay was for two nights so moving to another room may not have been our best option. All other aspects of the hotel we encountered were fine and met or exceeded our expectations. ...read more

The hotel had a great room, enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave. Those are useful tools when vacationing away from home. The staff was also friendly.
I didn't like that they advertise a cook to order meal plan for breakfast, but its actual just a Buffett. One that cost $11 but really should cost $7 at the most, no other option to get single items, which doesnt work out to good for some (like me).

Overall this is a good hotel to stay at, needs improvement in some areas like the food they serve and prices for what they are serving. This hotel is literally right next to the lake, and on that lake a casino for gamblers, fishing, picnic area, and a joging track. The aquarium is 20 min. Away, and lots of other attractions. To save money do get the rooms availble with a fridge and microwave, as you are able to take food back if you go out to eat then reheat when you are hungry agian or even the next day. The microwave and fridge are always an essential item. ...read more

The staff was helpful and informative HOWEVER, had my wife not set her alarm we would have missed the flight since we never got the wake-up call we scheduled.
When we checked in the first room had a plumbing - drainage problem and we had to move to another room. We did not get the wake-up call we scheduled and would have missed our flight except for my wife setting her alarm.

The location was ok except that it really isn't so much an airport motel since it is some ways away. We did feel that the facility needed some work and was not what we expected in a Hilton property.

The mattress was horrible and the noise in the hallway after 10:00pm was terrible.

Location was ideal for my trip.
Room quality was poor.

Now is a Hilton hotel, so next year it may be better.

Nothing.
This is by far the worst Hilton Garden I've ever stayed at. Been in better Motel 6s. Business office not working. No hot water one morning. Rooms a bit on the shabby side.

Find another spot for the same money.
