Room had a smell to it I could not quite pinpoint but definitely there only in the room. Did not complain to staff so it was not unbearable. Parking a real problem as I thought $30 which was the motel rate was too expensive. Will go elsewhere next time.

Decor, always present staff, good floor plan.
the room smelled very musty and the bed was kind of hard

this was a very comfortable stay, especially for the money, would have only liked the room to smell a little less. location is good if you like to walk - about a mile from the french quarter

It was located right in downtown. New Orleans. Near Harrah's. No frigerator in the room.
The view. No REFRIGERATION.

Great location for visiting everything from Harrah's to Museums, to tour buses. Convenient to eateries.

The staff is veryn polite, kind and helpful. The common areas were very clean and inviting.
The "complimentary wifi" that you can get in your room, supposedly, never connected. If you sign up for HHonors you supposedly get in for free but you could never get the website to sign up for the program to work.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area of town, though not the most convenient for accessing the French Quarter and other popular areas of New Orleans. There is a Riverfront Trolley stop several blocks walk away. The hotel is 1 block away from the convention center however, so very convenient access to that site. The staff is very helpful and polite and the facilites are kept up very well. ...read more

Found nothing I did not like.

Great stay, it was about a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter.

It was fine, nothing spectacular but it was very clean. The bar closes at 9pm, which is a little strange.
Although not far from many great NOLA destinations it is very deserted after hours so you really can't walk anywhere. That was pretty disappointing since, again, the hotel bar closed at 9pm.

The staff wasn't all that attentive and I didn't care for that. Check in took longer than it should have and the person who checked us in answered a phone call before checking us in even though we were standing right there in front of him.
