Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Ave. French Quarter Area
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 6, 2013

Hotel is within walking distance to Canal Street and French Qtr. If you are hardy, you can walk to the French Market, café du monde, all the touristy attractions, as well. You can catch the Trolley on the same street about 1/2 block away. Drawback to the Trolley - you can hear it rumbling by every hour or so, all night long. I think it runs well into the wee hours. Hotel has a famous oyster bar restaurant - Lukes - didn't try it because they were all booked up - so make your reservations. Incidentally, the hotel lobby area managed to maintain an oyster (seafood) smell the entire time (not particularly appetizing at breakfast time.) ...

Hotel was very nice - what would be expected of a 4 star. Friendly staff, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. Very decently priced.

The Hotel overall was very nice. The Staff was very helpful. But the Room has interior windows to cover the old original windows. The problem with the windows is that they fog over and you cannot clean them because they are sealed, so the view is completely ruined.
