Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Newark Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Hotel was clean. Location was close to Newark Airport. However, the hotel staff that I dealt with we're not friendly or helpful like I've experienced at other Hilton Hotels. So I was definitely disappointed with that aspect of my stay. Everything else was good.

the location
expensive parking and the fact that the rooms had like 3 locks, 2 of which were deadbolts but it is Newark after all.

Very close to the airport with relatively no noise coming from outside due to the planes, clean-ish rooms. Some of the furniture had mystery stains. Covered parking was very expensive and it was not even valet. Nobody even bothered to help me with my bags. Food in bar/restaurant was decent.

Hotel is fine except they they charge 20 bucks a night for parking. I have stayed at several hotels in the area where a parking fee was not charged. I feel like Priceline should have a category for whether a hotel charges for parking or not. I feel like this hotel will agree to a lower initial rate then there competitors on Priceline, knowing that they will more than make up the difference on parking and other higher than typical cost of food and other incidentals. ...read more

The hotel was everything I needed it to be.
I will never use it again.

Near the airport, very comfortable room, quiet.

Very nice facilities.
Overpriced for out of the way hotel, should include free of charge much more amenities.

It was in the location I needed with a comfortable bed for a great Priceline price!

Nice Hilton right by the Newark airport.

took time with people waiting to print off my airline tickets
the alarm clock did not work

it was on a busy street and it was NOT noisy, dining room staff accomodated each trivial request and were very kind, but they WERE noisy staff cut the air conditioning down for one couple, brought out glass goblets for another couple to take to their room, just really bent over backward to fill every request, good job, and I agree, it WAS cold there, even my room was set on 68 on arrival, too cold! ...read more
