Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Parsippany
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 20, 2013

Overall was ok, but not the best. Would prefer to stay next door where their rooms have all you need, breakfast and coffee anytime of day and free net in rooms as well. Beds are very cozy as well

When I booked this hotel, I requested a 2 1/2 star hotel in the area, hoping to be placed in the connecting Hampton Inn where I have previously stayed. I was delighted to know that I had been upgraded to the Hilton upon receipt of purchase. That delight ended there. When I arrived they placed me in a room for guests with disabilities. I told them I did not mind, but I thought it might be better to reserve those rooms for those guests and place me in a room that did not have those accommodations. The desk assistant did not seem to care. To get to my room I had to walk through construction, and once in my room I immediately noticed it did not insulate from outside noise. This did not bother me at first, but when I tried to sleep that night, the construction workers who had been working earlier and were placed in the room next to mine, were able to 'partake in festivities' outside my door to the courtyard. It was very annoying, and I should not have been put in the position to politely ask them to be quiet - which they did not. When I took a shower, I discovered that the drain on the bathroom floor was at the highest point (not the lowest) so the water covered the floor, seeping into the room, out of the bathroom. Fortunately, after a horrible first night stay, another desk attendant transferred me to another room that was only slightly more accommodating. Put simply, this hotel did not live up to expectations at all, and is not in a prime location either. The internet was not complimentary ($10/day), and neither was the breakfast ($15 for the morning buffet). There was no microwave or mini-fridge in either room, and for a 3 1/2 star to 4 star hotel it should be a given. In all reality, this is a truck-stop motel, wrapped in elegant and decorative wrapping (the public areas) with a Ruth's Chris steakhouse, which you may make use of, but not likely. I would recommend the connected Hampton Inn, that offers all the amenities I mentioned and more, with much better rates. ...

Had a good stay at this Marriott property. The check-in was good. Had to go back down to the front desk since both my room keys did not work. They quickly resolved the problem.

The hotel room was clean. That's most important to me. Overall, the hotel was satisfactory as you expect from the Hilton brand. My daughter plays in its indoor pool and that's nice, too. I do recommend this hotel.
