Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Portland And Executive Tower

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location
Having stayed at most of the downtown 4 star hotels this time I tried the 3 1/2. The room was exceptionally small and this hotel is VERY noisy compared to other downtown hotels, even on the 19th floor!

I would not stay here again. The price was okay but I'd rather pay a few extra dollars to stay at a far superior property. The location is great if you want to be close to everything downtown, but there are lots of other hotels in the same area. If you are just a single business traveler and want to save money you could stay here. The bathroom was so small there was nowhere to set your toiletries and the toilet was actually in at an angle just to fit the space! ...read more

The staff was awesome! When they found out it was our anniversary, they upgraded our room, and sent champagne, strawberries, and chocolate! Every staff member was very friendly. Excellent customer service
nope everything was great

I think this Hilton is an older one. The curtains and decor wasn't super modern but not that I cared. The bed was super comfy, white sheets, down comforter. The staff was wonderful. There is a pool and gym in the executive building, but in the main building a bigger pool, gym and hot tub. I know parking is expensive but we took the train in. Also, I think they charge for wifi, but there is wifi at many coffee shops nearby. The location is perfect, right in the middle of downtown. We could walk anywhere from shopping to many food cart pods. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. ...read more

The location,comfy beds
It wasn't as clean as I would expect at a Hilton. My daughter's room had filthy rings on the dresser top where tv was.

Nice staff, but our reservation was for 2 rooms, and initially they screwed it up, but fixed it quickly. Also,we were on an end suite that was extremely loud due to traffic. Parking was 34.00 which was high. Location great, beds great, but traffic kept me up all night.

Great location, but the staff tried to shove parking down our throats when there was plenty of available street parking (on a Sunday, no less).
The guy at the reception desk was was helpful, but somewhat disrespectful. The room was tiny, with room for only one person to sit down at the desk and no other seating. I'm average height and the shower head was way too low.

I was not impressed, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The location was fantastic! Right in the middle of downtown, right on the MAX line.
The room was a little small, but we expected that after reading reviews. Also, I wish there had been a fridge in the room.

I loved the location, right in the heart of downtown. The room was very comfortable, great shower, room smelled fresh which is always a bonus.
When I called Room Service to inquire about Gluten-free menu items he seemed unsure about it. He did offer to ask the chef, but I got the feeling that they really didn't understand what Gluten-free means or the importance for people with intolerance.

If you drive to this location the parking is located at the Executive Tower so you may have to park and then walk your luggage across the street. They do have valet parking, but if you want to park yourself, it's not that big of a deal. You are right in downtown with easy access to the bus line or light rail. Lots of great shopping and restaurants all around. They have a great pool and workout room. Rooms are very clean and smell fresh. I believe that they also have designated rooms if you are traveling with a pet. Rooms were very quiet and did not hear any noise in the hallway or from next door or above. Great Choice! ...read more

We initially asked for a king room instead of 2 doubles, but the check-in guy said that since it was a third party reservation, he couldn't. Obvious excuse! He was also quite cheeky telling us how to get to our room - anyway, I wasn't impressed.

I loved the look of the hotel from when you first walk in, really classy looking. Room was also just as nice, the bathroom was amazing, nice size tv and beds were comfy! Overall excellent stay and would definitely stay here again!
I liked everything about this hotel. If I had to say I "disliked" one thing it would have to be the parking costs but that was not that big of a deal to myself.

I loved the look of the hotel from when you first walk in, really classy looking. Room was also just as nice, the bathroom was amazing, nice size tv and beds were comfy! There is a lot of places to eat and visit within walking distance of the hotel. Overall excellent stay and would definitely stay here again!
