Location was excellent. Perfect for the convention center and gaslamp district with great views of the bay.

Very good location and facility.
The swimming pool was closed for renovation. Since I looked forward to swimming in the pool, I was disappointed. I wish I have known before reserving the room there.

Location was convenient
Placed me in a handicaped room. Due to the oversize bathroom, the living space was very small. HUGE line for check in (very unlike a Hilton Property)

Perfect location for convention center activities. Service from staff members was outstanding.
Must exit the hotel to access some of the affiliated shops, e.g. Starbucks, Fox Grill.

Location, location, location. Right near the San Diego Convention Center. Food was great. I ate at the bar on my first night and the bartender was so plesant and the food so good that I ate there again the second night.
So refurb was going on.
The best hotel foe the San Diego Convention Center.Walking distance to Petco Park and The Gaslamp District.

Good place to sleep.
No place to have quiet business meetings & conversations. The bar is incredibly noisy. The lobby area is a high traffic zone, not good to meet and talk. NO REFRIGERATOR in the room.
Next door to the Convention Center. Not too convenient for the Gaslamp District. Great view of the working harbor is entertaining.

Really nice clean open facilities with a helpful staff. Views were outstanding and very close to restaurants and activities.

Fantastic location, very clean!
The receptionist at check-in tries to nickel and dime the already expensive rooms by trying to upgrade the guests' view. The outdoor patio was closed and under construction which was a huge bummer.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location on the bay. Everybody is friendly.

I came for a meeting at the convention center. The hotel's location is very convenient being located right next to the convention center. It was also close to the Gaslight Quarter, which was convenient place to relax in the off hours. This was one of the designated "meeting hotels". Attendees can get a special reduced rate by booking through the Housing Customer Service used by the meeting organizers, but I got a much better rate through Priceline. ...

It was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
Quality of the sheets (small holes in them) were on the 3.5 star rather than 4 star level.
Overall excellent hotel. The staff made me feel welcome and were professional. The room was comfortable and amenities were nice. The pool and hot tub were phenomenal!
