Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It's located in a great place. It's close to downtown and for shopping at fashion valley.
The parking smelled weird.

Room was wonderful.
Being forced to pay $18 for parking and $10 for a very poor WIFI. This is NOT a downtown hotel and other hotels in the same street do not charge for parking...

Helpful staff, convenient parking, location good for getting on and off highways
Computer for boarding passes don't work. Small desk/work area

Hotel is a bit dated but was great for the price. Would book here again.

Good central location in Mission Valley
Housekeeping threw away my Nordstrom shopping bag - with my Nordstrom purchases still in it. I complained to the front desk, and hotel staff ultimately retrieved the bag, many hours later, but the next day housekeeping threw it away again.

This was an acceptable - though no better - hotel for the discounted rate I paid. I would never pay full price to stay at this hotel; the staff were a little bit underperforming - even apart from the maid throwing away a pristine Nordstrom shopping bag with purchases still in it. The $10/day fee for WiFi was very bothersome. The $16/day fee for onsite parking was OUTRAGEOUS. ...read more

Difficult to use, meeting room attendees continually blocked the front lobby and made access difficult. Room amenities limited, windows in room had huge bird dung smears all over them, a real turn off. Bed hard not very comfortable.

Good location, comfortable beds
Rooms needed updating, housekeeping missed cleaning the room one day, two of the towels were soiled.

Hotel rooms need to be updated. Parking is expensive.

The location was great really. It was very close to a lot of major attractions. Other then that, that was all it really had going for it.
There was no free parking anywhere near the hotel. I was paying 30 dollars a night for parking. Completely outrageous prices. And there was no free internet in the rooms either. The showers were also not very good.

For the normal price one would have to pay for the hotel, I was expecting a lot more. The rooms were an okay size, but that is only counting if the normal price of the room was really the same as the discounted price I got the hotel room for on here. I am glad I did not end up having to pay full price here. The showers had horrible water pressure. I had to be right up under the shower head, in order to bath. The price for parking here was an additional 30 dollars a night. And you had to pay about 10 dollars a day for internet, but it would only last an hour or so before disconnecting and asking for you to pay for another quote "24 hours" again. I would also think that a hotel of this star rating would come with a mini fridge at least. But it had none. I have stayed at several hotels that had fewer star ratings and lower prices that had better amenities then this place. ...read more
