Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton San Francisco
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

This hotel was a bargain. Hotel was great and in an excellent location. Rooms and King bed were comfortable. We stayed Friday - Sunday and did not experience any noise, noisy elevators, crowded lobby, etc. mentioned in many other reviews. No waiting for elevators and they are fast. 2 Rooms in Tower 1: 4071 had a fantastic view (upgraded); 1571 had a nice view (no upgrade). Parking directly across the street is much cheaper with 24 hour in/out privileges. Almost always a long wait time at Hilton Starbuck's, so use the one next door - much faster. Hiltons are rarely our first choice because we find them "lifeless" - it seems there is no "excitement" to their properties. Example: went to the pool/jacuzzi and there were no Hilton personnel, no music, no bar or beverages. Boring. However, this property is very nice and served our needs quite well. Adjacent restaraunt/bar "Urban ??" appears to be part of the Hotel and was chic, trendy, fun and buzzed with just enough ambiance/excitement. We had cocktails only and did not dine at the Hotel. There are many great restaraunts within walking distance. Priceline needs spell check on these surveys:) ...

I had a room with single bed, it was clean, quiet and comfortable (may be a just a bit on small size).

With the price we got for the room on a Saturday night, I would definitely come back. However, If I had another option at the same price, I would most likely stay elsewhere. The bathroom was tiny and had hair on the toilet and floor. That's the last thing you want to see... Overall, it was fine with the location, in walking distance to everything.
