Overall a good choice for a nicer hotel - everything was clean and staff was very polite, which are my top two things. There were a few annoyances like a slow draining shower and really dirty windows slightly obscuring our wonderful view. Also the internet was not working on our second day of the trip. I wouldn't mind to stay here again for the price I paid.

The service provided by the staff at this hotel was poor. We were assigned a rooom for a handicap person and we do not have any special needs. The main issue was the shower as it did not have one rather it had a very short handle to shower with. The stay at this hotel was not worth the money. The hotel did not have a pool either.

Family Traveling with Teens
This hotel is located in Chinatown of San Francisco, right at the base of the tallest building in San Francisco. It is within easy walking distance of shopping and Pier 5 where our San Francisco tour guides asked us to meet. The Chinese Cultural Park is right across the street, and worth visiting; also, the hotel has many interesting pieces of art worth paying attention to. Our waiter at the restaurant was wonderful, and the food was delicious! On the last day I asked the concierge for ideas to pass time, and he recommended three or four places to visit that were outstanding, and gave me complete directions (alternate routes included) to incorporate into our drive. I surely would have missed seeing some of the best parts of San Fran were it not for him, and the alternate routes allowed us to bypass traffic and breeze through to the airport. Beds were comfortable, and except for the slightly smoky smell in our room, this was truly an exceptional experience.

Hilton is about what you'd expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel in downtown San Francisco - cramp, busy, clean tastefully furnished, but less than gleaming lobby, cramp parking garage, functional but shoddy looking garage elevator lobby. That being said, the room is clean, comfortable, & functional. Good quality toiletries. Staff are friendly and helpful as they try to manage the occasional crush of guests checking in/out at the same time. I would definitely stay here again. ...
