While the rooms were small, they were immaculate, and the view overlooking the ocean was wonderful! The staff were so very helpful. We had decided to go to a well-known restaurant in the city, and they got us a map so we could get there on our own.
We were charged extra for parking, which surprised us.

We loved the location, right along the ocean, and also felt we were in good hands there as far as security for our vehicle, in the off-street parking ramp. We enjoyed working out in the gym, which also overlooked the ocean from a seventh-floor vantage point. :-)

Ocean front view was fabulous. Stayed during Easter Weekend so the festivities were only a few short blocks away. Terrific, helpful staff... especially Wanda at the front desk.

Beautiful view of the ocean from the south facing rooms. Upgrade to Executive floor upon arrival is very reasonable considering all that is included. Have stayed at this location on several occasions and will be returning again. Location is away from the tourist area of Zona Colonial, but we wanted to be away from that part of town. Taxi fare is 200 pesos of less to go there is you so desire. ...read more

Gorgeous views of the Ocean. Very close to Tony Roma's Restaurant and the Cinema.
The hotel did not have my reservation when I arrived. I had to forward the Priceline confirmation email to the hotel staff in order for them to check me in and we had to wait for 20 min at the front desk.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, clean, the gym was great.
The bar side area was very poorly lit up, could not read the menu, needed a flash light, also the little Ketchup bottle needed to be opened by the bar.

I would return in a heart beat, I certainly recommend install better lighting of improve the size and clarity of the bar menu. I would also suggest that if ketchup is requested by the customer, that you open the mini bottles on delivery. It may seem like a crazy complaint however it was a very frustrating experience. Thanks!

I wish the hotel not to charge the parking fee for hotel stayer, although they receive fees from visitors.

Hilton Santo Domingo is very excellent and recommendable hotel. In the future I plan to stay again whenever I visit Santo Domingo.

It was a fantastic atmosphere, very clean as indicated prompt room service. The Young lady at check out I found rather weird she frown as she was looking at my stay, and
I ask why are you frowning and she said I dint see any additional charges for you, and would not give me a receipt.I had breakfast that cost sixty 60.00 us dollars and they never came back with the change as indicated. ...read more

The breakfast buffet was too expensive. I think it was going to be $25 and possible more after the mandatory 26% tax.

No one spoke English well.

Nice hotel. Food is costly. Location isn't ideal for kids. Nothing is in close vicinity of the hotel. Cabs are expensive. Next time will stay near Boca Chica.
