Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Our overall experience was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating.

This was not a four star hotel. You need to bring the rating down. This is also an older hotel. Everything in their was very very expensive. The only thing we got out of the hotel was the name Hilton. I have stayed at the Marriott Oceanfront recently and wished I had book with them.

The hotel is on the ocean, which is great. However, there are many other hotels located on the ocean front. Hotels shouldn't nickel and dime customers to death with extra fees on services that most others include for the price of the room. Bump up the price of the room in order to include these amenities for no extra charge. At least then it doesn't look as bad, and you may not get reviews like this one. Overall, I would return. We had a few errors that were corrected. (Double billed for room, clumsy check in process, elevators extremely slow) The location is great, room was clean, comfortable, and quite. Facilities clean. Activities desk pushing some new hotel every time I walked by was extremely annoying.

Great hotel, great infinity pool.

The hotel was classy, clean and romantic, which allowed my wife and I to have a wonderful honeymoon. However, for the price I paid for the room, I would have expected there to be a jetted bath tub in the room, as there are many other hotels on the oceanfront that cost far less and have jetted tubs. The room was rather small, but was very nice.

The hotel was great, with clean, open spaces and a relaxing ambiance from the lighting and decor. The rooftop pools were warm, relaxing, and clean. There was a bar on the top floor as well as an outside bar on the ground floor near Neptune Park, which had live music playing. My only two gripes were slow elevators that were not air conditioned and were rather warm. One elevator seemed to "fall" a half a floor where upon it descended to the bottom floor and reset. The concierges were pushy with setting up appointments to view a nearby timeshare, though they did offer free meals or tickets for entertainment venues in the area in return. Had to call down two days in a row to have the room made up. they gave us a 50 dollar dining gift cert for our troubles. Very nice hotel except they just started charging for parking even though the book in the room states it is free. They took the parking charges off

Much different room type than what we purchased off a different travel site last year. Bathroom was ridiculously awkward to use due to shower door right on top of toilet bowl. Step out of a fresh shower and brush your leg onto the toilet to get out. Then slam the shower door into the bathroom door. Bathroom needs revamp. Other then that room was comfortable.
