Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Waikoloa Village
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 4, 2012

Words fail. This is one of the nicest Hiltons. It is an enormous "campus" with three separate hotel buildings, multiple pools,an ocean lagoon with a beach, great restaurants, dolphins, striking original art and courteous, friendly staff. I went with a friend who had never stayed at so elegant a property before. Initially, she was mildly uncomfortable and disparaging but, by the second day she had succumbed to the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting. Last I heard, she was trying to figure out how soon she could go back. Me too! ...

Expansive - which in some ways is good, some bad. Not as hard to navigate as I expected. Pools are excellent but, alas, no beach. Felt more like Asia than Hawaii, a bit of sensory overload. All-in-all, was very pleasantly surprised and will consider staying here again - especially at the great price I got through Priceline.

The hotel is nice for what we paid for it. The pools are OK, however, there are only 3 hot tubs in the resort, and the are all on the Lagoon tower side. So, they are always chalked full of about 30 kids. For a place this large, they need to install hot tubs on the Ocean tower side for adults only. You better plan to walk at least a mile to your car everyday, unless you want to wait on the tram. We found that you can typically walk faster to your destination than waiting for the tram. ...

I loved this hotel, we traveled with 4 children and we all had a wonderful time. We got a great rate with Priceline, which made it possible to spend more money at the resort on food, drinks and souvenirs. Cell phone service in our rooms was hard to get a signal.
