The location was great it was close to a lot of things we wanted to do. I wish the room was more modern and the coffee pot was not in the bathroom.

on arrival we had to accept the only room they had available at the time, this was not an intital problem until we actually got into the room. there was an overwhelming plastic burning smell inside the room and the immediate area around the room. we called the front desk but because of a wedding and other events in the hotel we were not able to switch rooms at that time. we also complained several times to housekeepers and room service staff about the smell of burning plastic. we went out for dinner that evening and on return we once again complained to security and the manager on duty, we were told that the smell was coming from construction that was going on on floors above us but they were puzzled because they said the construction was not going on the dates of our stay. i discussed with the manager on duty that because of my firefighter background and my girlfriends sensitivity to smells we would not be able to stay in this room much longer. she assured me that she would take a note and move us as soon as another room is available. the next morning my girlfriend had to go to an all day conference and i left the room during the day, leaving my cellphone number with the manager so he/she could notify me when we could move. on returning from her conference my girlfriend again complained of a headache most likely caused by the plastic burning smell. once again i called the front desk and was told there were still no rooms available. it wasnt until 11pm that night did i finally get moved to another room in the hotel. other than the plastic burning smell once we got moved it was a nice stay and a nice hotel, although we both said we highly doubt we would return to that hotel again. ...
