Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express And Suites Pikeville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Luxurious and beautiful! Complimentary hot breakfast, nice QUEEN beds (not double like most hotels), just a beautiful place!
Right on main highway, could hear ambulances and motorcycles right outside the window.

Seemed much more than a 2 star hotel. We travel ALOT and this was better than some of the 3 star hotels we have stayed at. It has been a long time since we have been at a hotel that has queen beds instead of just double beds, the bathroom was just gorgeous! Tip for parents: windows slide open and there are no balconies, so make sure the windows are locked so children don't play around open windows. ...read more

Location was great. Easy to find and right off the highway. Hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable! Great breakfast!

Good location, clean and spacious room. Great selection for breakfast. Free parking. Fitness facility was small but clean. Staff was very friendly. They offered us free coffee and snacks when we arrived. Wonderful experience!

It was the nicest hotel in the vacinity. Rooms were very clean and orderly and the staff was very helpful whenever needed.
It is a little close to the main highway and a train route so it can get a little noisy. Access to the hotel from the highway is a bit tricky too because of construction or traffic-flow changes in the vacinity.

It isn't the cheapest hotel in the vacinity, but this is definitely one of those "you get what you pay for" sorta things. Is upholds the higher Holiday Inn standards for layout, quality, cleanliness, and service that you would come to expect from their franchise. If you are vacationing, visiting, or just passing through the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone as a comfortable, clean, and dependable place to stay. ...read more

this hotel is located on a very busy road, traffic is very loud and hotel window does not block anything as far as sound. I had to check window to see if it was open it was so loud.

The location was where we needed to be.
The carpet looked about a hundred years old. The tile in the bathroom was cracked all over. The "closet" was a tiny rod. Everything appeared to be clean, and that's about the best that can be said.

We were greeted with courtesy. Check-in was quick. Someone is making cookies for folks coming in late, which is a nice touch. The breakfast was a decent spread - the fresh bacon was especially nice - and they were still refilling the supplies toward the end of the breakfast period. There was construction going on at the end of our floor and (I'm guessing) renovations in the rooms opposite ours. It got pretty noisy in the morning before I was ready to get up. But Pikeville is not well served for hotels, especially for a college town, so we were ready to put up with some unpleasantness to be close to our friends. ...read more
