Couple
We stayed one night and all was well and what we expected having recently stayed at HIE in Manhatten. Suggestions for making it even better * An extractor fan in the bathroom * night light in the bathroom * 2 small reading lamps rather than the large, g. If one guest is an insomniac and needs to read in the night the other person is disturbed. The above are why I did not give 10/10 for the room. ...

Family Traveling with Teens
We had a very nice breakfast and the staff popped fresh popcorn for us when we asked. The decor is nice and the location is just what we needed.

Business Traveler
Overall, the hotel is okay. But the carpets in the hallways look dirty and stained. I was at this hotel for 3 nights, and on 2 of the mornings the elevators were not working! They had them fixed later, but by then I had already had to carry luggage down the stairs from the 3rd floor. Also, the 3rd floor had no ice machine, so I always had to go down to the 2nd or 1st floor to get ice. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
Great hotel for a shopping weekend. I would recommend it for that purpose. The complimentary breakfast isn't perfect, but it is certainly a convenient and cost effective way to start the day.

Family Traveling with Teens
A very good choice if one is circumventing the New York metropolitan area. We were just passing around the city, and this worked well. The hotel was in much better shape than we experienced elsewhere in the Northeast, espcially at the price point payed.

It's a great place to stop for a few nights, provided you *bring earplugs* (due to the thin interior walls.)
