The hotel has a great location in the middle of the Wharf and near the muni lines. The breakfast was a great addition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds on the other hand were very uncomfortable.

Walk to everything. Wonderful room, checked us in at 9:00 instead of making us wait until 3:00!Staff deserves an award! Great hot breakfast; eggs pancakes sausage gravy biscuits and more more more! Quiet room , no noise from street. Wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

Warning
parking will cost you $50. Figure that in if you stay here. Totally unaware of that and upset. Hotel is ok. Our fan was very loud. Poor service. Crowded breakfast. Typical Holiday Express breakfast but small for size of hotel and don't leave your food for a minute to get a napkin because they come and take your food away if you walk away (even for a minute) to get something you forgot! ...

The hotel is right in the midst of Pier 39/Fisherman's Wharf - which is great if that's the part of town you want to be in. I didn't, but a large convention had booked up everything downtown. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The staff was slow, but I imagine part of the blame falls to the aforementioned convention-goers. My room was easy to find and quiet, quiet, quiet. Which is hard to find in SF and greatly appreciated when it is. ...
