Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel And Suites Brighton

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The breakfast in the morning is excellent- good choice, good quality, and free!
Weekends seem to bring rowdy wedding parties. You can hear every sound in the halls and with intoxicated guests- this makes for disruptive weekend nights. Breakfast area gets crowded quickly on the weekends- no room to sit and eat.

Overall a good value. The hotel is getting a bit tired and hopefully is scheduled for a renovation in the near future. I use this hotel about 14 nights a year and would like to see it updated.

Very clean, modern
Rooms need more sound proofing. I could not fall asleep until 3:00 am because of people slamming doors, talking in hallway, and talking in the parking lot. Was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. If you want to party all night, then stay there.

For
xxx a night, you would think they can afford more soundproof walls.

Nice room with good beds. Indoor pool was also nice.
The staff was not very well trained. While they were nice, they were not very helpful when we had a problem with some other guests.

Quiet location and great complimentary breakfast.
Priority club points not allowed because of reservation through Pricelin e.

All expectations were met; however, I was disappointed that hotel didn't award Priority Club points because reservation was made through Priceline. I try to stay at Holiday Inns when possible when I travel so the Priority Club benefits are important to me.

Nice location, friendly staff. No surprises.
Hotel fills up with families on weekends for local UM and MSU games in the fall. Not a bad thing, but they tend to be a bit noisy later at night running to pool and so on.
