Water slide and breakfast - both free! What a value add bonus! Kids loved it!
Far from other restaurants.

It was awesome to have an overnight stay that we expected to be fairly uneventful be a highlight of our trip! The kids loved the water park!

Water park and decent breakfast add a lot of value to this hotel.
Maid service is practically non-existent.

We stayed here with our boys 12, 10 and 7 and we loved the water park. It was appropriate for their ages plus had a toddler-friendly area as well. The hotel has a small workout room and laundry facilities. I was disappointed with the housekeeping of our room, but the staff was very friendly and the breakfast had many options for normal eaters. As a vegan, it was plain Quaker quick oats, a banana and black coffee for me, but my kids enjoyed bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, muffins and juices. The hotel is very conviently located to shopping and places to dine as well as tourist attractions in both Brainerd and Baxter

I like the ambience and proximity to the Paul Bunyan bike trail and good shopping.
I only wish they had an outdoor bike rack -- but I had a great time!

Loved the quietness and setting, nice staff who interacted positively w/ children.
Bathroom was not cleaned to my standards-hair from previous guest still all over, counter not as clean as I would like.

Overall I really liked it. I would probably bring my own cleaning supplies next time to clean the bathroom. Also, stains all over in our room on carpet which made me leave my shoes on because it is perceived as dirty. But staff seemed excellent and water park was fun!

Free breakfast and local calls, liked how they had life vests for general use.
Rooms were only ready at 4 and not before. The grill food was a little overpriced.
