Business Traveler
to accommodate my room needs, stuck in a smoking room.
I was booked in a double-Queen
smoking room, and the hotel
refused to move me into a non-smoking room. It was
very obvious that they were not more than 1/2 booked, but kept stating "their computer system would not allow them to make any changes, the only option I had was to cancel my reservation.
Lots of Febreeze, candles and Glade Scented Oil things helped, but could not totally compensate for the smoke smell in my room. There is a caveat in the contract that all "special requests" must be approved by the hotel. I have a smoke allergy, and at no time was I warned that I may be stuck in a smoking room. Craptastic! ...

They welcome you with cookies and apples. Excellent service. Breakfast was very good. Nice and clean everywhere. Highly recommend it.

Overall, a nice experience. Room was clean, though caulk in bathroom could use a little cleaning. Hotel overall was nicely decorated and staff went out of way to make public area feel comfortable. Breakfast was good for a buffet style ranging from make your own pancakes do great cinnamon rolls. Noise from hallway does creep into the rooms and we could not use the pool since the chlorine in the air was overwhelming. ...
