Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Georgetown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 23, 2013

We were staying at the hotel for a bike ride for Autism. When we arrived at the hotel all the information was wrong for my room and the desk clerk told me that I had not paid for the room but I had a confirmation number stating that the room was paid for. She was very rude to us and she then called priceline and griped them out for 5 minutes while we stood there waiting. We were going to relax in the hot tub but the water was cold but the jets worked. When we asked about she was rude once again and stated that there was a part on order. The next morning we were on a schedule and had little time to eat and the breakfast was not ready at 7. We were told that the breakfast person did not come to work and we would have to wait. I have used priceline several times and also stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses and have never had this kind of experience. ...

The lobby, breakfast area, and pool were all very nice. Our room was a different story. There were holes in the roof over the shower, the shower curtain was torn in several spots, there were large dings in the bath tub that at first looked like dirt, and all of the plumbing was exposed under the sink in the kitchenette area. When I pay over $100 for a one night stay I expect to get a little more quality for my money. With that said, the bed was very comfortable and the room itself appeared clean enough. This hotel is also extremely noisy. We were kept up majority of the night because we could clearly hear the conversations and television in the room next to ours. Anytime the elevator rang it was audible in our room too. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express locations before and have never been this dissatisfied. This particular hotel could pay better attention to the little things to say the least. ...

A very bright and friendly facility operated by a great staff who seemed happy to be working there. Be careful in the shower/tub though, the combination of soft water and no non-skid surface makes it very slippery.
