Easy access.
The hotel was under renovation and dirty. Poor location. One staff member was nice, the rest could not be bothered.

Not worth the money; lack of charm in an otherwise lovely area.

Staff was extremely pleasant. Breakfast room was well equipped and a very helpful attendant. Bottled water displayed for travel. Second visit to this property, both times I have been pleased.

Location. Breakfast was good, but person responsible for cooking could not tell me if food contained certain allergens and said they did not have the packaging to check.
Dusty, Dusty, Dirty. They claimed it was from previous construction but I believe a vacuum cleaner would have made a difference. The shower stall was obviously not cleaned from previous occupant, or during our stay.

Shabby. Dusty. Unclean. While walking in room we could SEE dust being kicked up. Needed A/C on to filter air so I wouldn't have repeated coughing attacks. We were told this area of hotel was NOT under construction. The shabby carpet just needed a vacuum. Woke with rash and immediately Googled bedbug bites. Luckily, no bedbugs that I know of but I felt that dirty. Bathroom/shower not cleaned after previous occupant or during the length of our stay. (dark blue shampoo type smear on shower stall. Yes, I could wipe it off but YUCK!) Good breakfast, but person responsible for cooking could not tell me if food contained certain allergens and claimed they did not have the packaging to check. Short walk to Texas Steakhouse restaurant, and that was a good value. Not a 2 1/2 star hotel. This changed my opinion of the Priceline rating system. Refrigerator had not been emptied before our chech in. Toilet also was not flushed from previous guest. No door hang tag available.

Staff was great and hotel was quiet.
Some guy was walking his wet dog all around the hotel. He would go out in the tropical storm and walk the dog around and then have his dog walk up and down the halls. The guest did this a few times while I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes.

Nice hotel and a good value. The residents of MHC all knew exactly where I was staying and it was easy to get around town from the location of the hotel. It was even convenient to get to Atlantic Beach from the hotel.

Loved how close this hotel was to the beach
Some things in the room were falling appart.

Nice hotel with super nice staff, I did not like how when we walked in to our room the border was falling off of the wall. I took a picture and brought it down to the front desk as soon as it was spotted so that we would not be charged extra for that mess up. Later in the week one of the pictures fell off of the wall while we were watching TV and trying to relax. I have been told that the hotel will be going through some renovations, I hope so as it needs it. ...read more
